WeSuite Newsletter

Innovation in action is highly valued at WeSuite. Innovation comes in many forms. We have continually improved our development methodologies by investing in education for our team, implementing new tools and processes. We have invested in best of breed software for our support team and in running our business. We use our own software and suggest improvements. This year, the WeSuite team moved completely to QuoteAnywhere.
Our latest innovation in motion is development of our new virtual sales assistant, Selena AI. Selena’s debut at our Summer Workshop showing production of scopes of work in seconds hit the mark. In our next release Selena will provide sales insights based on sales reporting data from WeSuite. Team and individual analysis of data to guide selling, highlight actions to take, show comparisons, and much more to close more deals.
We have big plans for Selena with more features being released by year end, including site survey voice to text notes interpreted, organized, and enhanced, and even the creation of the bill of materials, addition of labor, chargeable items, and services. Selena becomes a salesperson’s best friend!

Innovation in Action: Inside WeSuite’s Users Workshop
From August 5-8, members of our WeSuite community came together for an action-packed workshop focused on the New QuoteAnywhere. The 2 ½ day event allowed attendees to see and experience how QuoteAnywhere now makes the lead-to-close process easier and more efficient than ever – for sales of any size and complexity.
Like all attendees, David Lok of Wycliffe Technologies came to see “what’s coming out.” He says, “Having everything from WeEstimate and WeOpportunity under one platform as a web browser and being mobile is awesome! Once 6.12 is released, we plan to move fully forward with it.”
Beyond introducing QA’s powerful, expanded feature sets, the workshop focused on how to apply them to address common business challenges – like onboarding and off-boarding users, dealing with pricing volatility, forecasting, managing estimate revisions, and using electronic business forms to streamline in-house communications. Roundtable sessions spurred dynamic discussions about current sales topics – with participants sharing their company’s tactics for addressing issues like tariffs, forecasting, and budgeting.
By far, the biggest hit of the workshop was an introduction to Selena – WeSuite’s new AI-powered assistant. Over the coming months, she will gradually bring more and more automation to the QuoteAnywhere platform. Ultimately, she will assist with lead generation and targeting, estimating, scope writing, and more!
Most attendees said that their companies were already using AI to assist with a number of tasks, and were thrilled that Selena could soon help do those things within leaving QuoteAnywhere. “Of everything I saw at the workshop, I’m most excited about the AI integration,” said Jay Juron of Sage Integration. “I’m unaware of any other quoting tool or similar software that has built-in AI. This is huge.”
Kayla Maddox of Pye Barker says that in addition to gaining more knowledge about QA’s new features, the workshop allowed her to “connect with other users, see how they’re using WeSuite, and learn if there are ways for her and her team to use their system better.”
Couldn’t attend yourself? You’ll be hearing soon about all the exciting new QA features and capabilities coming your way!

How to Evaluate a Candidate’s Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills
Most hiring managers ask questions that tell them nothing.
While you’re asking, “Tell me about yourself,” your competitors are using behavioural techniques and questions that show them a candidates true working style. The gap between mediocre and elite interviewers? It’s not experience. It’s methodology.
Episode 1 has just been released featuring Tracy Larson, CEO of WeSuite, and we’re talking about how to successfully evaluate a candidate’s ability to think critically and solve problems, in an interview.
Start using techniques that will show you a candidate’s capability. The companies doing it right aren’t just lucky with talent; they’re using better interview techniques.
